Privacy notice · Updated 6 October 2026
Your details,
with care.
This notice covers the limited Element & Self HTTPS experience for adults 18+. Entering recorded birth details is optional. You can explore the five cultural symbols without them.
Who is responsible?
Operator: kaca chen
Responsibility country or region: United States (US)

What the tool processes
If you choose the birthday tool, this site's service processes your recorded Gregorian birth date and local time, the selected place or confirmed civil timezone, and an explicit clock-change occurrence if needed. Place search sends a country and search spelling to the same service. This is processing of personal information, even though the tool is designed not to keep birth details.
The purpose is to calculate one Day Master element under the stated local civil-time and midnight convention. We do not ask for a name, email, gender, exact address, account or payment. Cultural symbol exploration needs none of these details.
How information travels
Use the site's HTTPS address for birth input. Birth details and search words are sent in request bodies to the site's own service. They are not added to a URL or share link, or sent to an online map, advertising platform or analytics service.
The calculation server runs in Tencent Cloud's Seoul region in South Korea. Network requests necessarily involve technical network information such as an IP address while the connection is handled. IP-based rate limiting uses server memory. The site's operational log configuration records fixed request categories, methods, response status, size and timing, plus application event or error codes. It excludes birth details, search words, IP addresses, request URLs and request headers. These logs help maintain the service and diagnose failures.
What stays in your browser
The form holds details in page memory while you use it. It is cleared after a successful result, when you select Clear details, and when you leave and return to this page. The code does not write birth details to browser storage, cookies, a service-worker cache or saved drafts. Form autocomplete is turned off; browser or device behavior cannot be guaranteed by a website.
The saved PNG contains the element and fixed reflection text, with no birth date, time, timezone or birthplace. The result page also explains the calculation convention and timezone. Files you save stay on your device under your control. Sharing only happens after your click; your chosen app or recipient then controls its copy. A device returning from a share request does not let this site confirm that the card was sent.
Storage and service logs
This version has no birth database or user account. Request data is used for the calculation rather than saved as a customer record. Clearing page state is not a claim of physical memory erasure.
Web-server operational logs use daily rotation when non-empty, retaining up to 10 rotated files as well as the current log. Application runtime logs rotate by size, configured at 5 MiB per file with at most two files. Retention depends on when files rotate; these rules do not guarantee an individual entry's deletion date.
External links and data sources
The page does not load external fonts, analytics or social widgets. Selecting an external cultural or source link visits another site's privacy environment. The offline place and timezone datasets are used on this site's server; the data publishers do not receive your birth inputs from the calculation service.
Questions and requests
